oh well, yes, tomorrow I will reach the big 30 and I thought it may be a good idea to start a blog dafka now that I am in my last week of my hufhat leida (maternity leave) with a million things to do on my lists, including organizing a small birthday party this thursday.

I am excited, I am happy I am finally getting myself to have a blog. I had two dreams when I was younger (I already talk like a 30 year old)…. one was to become an actress (I still secretely hope I will be scouted and become the next Julia Roberts) and the other one was to become a writer… I gave up on the second… I don’t know why, I have never been to confident and the few times I started writing something, I was so destructively critical of myself that I erased everything… language is also an issue. I am originally Italian but completed my higher degrees in the UK, with the result that my Italian is not that great and my English is a second language and I am limited in my vocabulary and expressions… so a blog is a good excuse to write something light etc….

I am not sure who is going to read this, or whether I am gonna tell my friends about it, but writing makes me feel good, so I guess I will give it a try.

Gotta go and get some shopping done (organic chicken for my sweet little 8 months old girl)… and enjoy my last day in my twenties….
